Icue asus plugin9/5/2023 I'd been struggling with this for a bit, but I've found a solution that works for me (for the time being). But afgter upgrade to v4 myself, i found this solution more simple. My solution just simply made iCue load before ASUS takes over. This is the most simple solution, but hasd to be done after every install. I think the Kingston programm collides with the control of Corsair DRAM through ICUE.Īll in all it finally works for me and I'm pretty happy about it. Now go to the ASUS folder on your drive (C:\Program Files\ASUS) and rename the folders "Kingston_Aac_DRAM" and "ASUS_Aac_DRAM" to something else. I used Revo Uninstaller, should be possible without it. Then, somehow deactivate the autostart of Lightning Service. Because of Asus fantastic work you could need several tries, because the software just fails to install. G.Skill developed a nice tool to really clean up: To ressolve the red triangle on the most recent software, you should completely deinstall any kind of old Aura software you have. Okay, after my little lighting adventure I've found several posts discussing this issue. ASUS Aura integration still works after this fix!Ĭan you record Tutarial video? Thank You. This fix makes sure iCue has first access to hardware before ASUS software does. ASUS Aura integration still works after this fix! Edited by wim-bart It should now list "RPCSS Audisrv CorsairLLAService CorsairService".Simply add "CorsairLLAService" and "CorsairService" to this value (each on seperate row). This key already has a value named "DependOnService".Now find the "Key" named "LightingService".Add the values from "Step 2" so it displays "CorsairLLAService CorsairService" (each should be on different line when edited). Now create a new value of type "REG_MULTI_SZ" and the name "DependOnService".Now find the registry key for "ASUS System Control Service", this is "AsSysCtrlService".Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services.Note the Service name of these services, in normal case these are: Start services and look for the following two services: This little tutorial helps them solving it. However, I do not have one control the other because I have allot of non-Corsair 3-pin ARGB products. Some see exclamation marks on Memory in iCue or have other issues with iCue detecting hardware. Right now, I have both iCue and AC working together with no issue as I write this. And there are other non-Corsair products (like keyboards and Mice) that have limitations. They only support 4-pin RGB and RGB built-in to the motherboard. The only thing that has not changed with iCue is when using Non-Corsair 3-pin ARGB products. I learned to be incredibly careful when using REVO. The only time I had to reformat was when I started uninstalling using REVO Uninstaller and deleting stuff. Now there was one time where I (for some reason) had to reset the BIOS. When I booted back up, my Corsair products was working again. As for iCue, I turned off "Enable Plug-ins", made sure the software and firmware for Corsair products was updated, shut down my PC and turned off my PSU. Then when I booted back up, it all started working. To fix the Aura Sync issue I had to delete the configuration file, shut down and turn off the PSU for 30 seconds. In the beginning I had an issue where my Corsair RAM RGB was off and another time where Aura sync in AC was somehow disconnected. I've been using both AC and iCue for about a year now. Has anyone else experienced any issue with Armory Crate like this? Surely Asus's software isn't this jacked. So now I'm looking at having to reinstall Windows and everything else yet again, just so my LEDs do not stay on the default "Rainbow Wave" indefinitely. And to make matters worse, after removing Armory Crate with Revo, and installing things the way I've always had them, whatever Armory Crate did is still breaking Aura/ICUE integration. In the past I had always rolled with stand-alone Aura Sync and and ICUE, allowing ICUE to control both my Asus motherboard and my keyboard.Īrmory Crate has been a huge letdown - Far fewer options than Aura Sync for the same motherboard, broke the Aura/ICUE integration entirely, installed a boatload of services, etc that I can't seem to get rid of, not to mention Armory Crate didn't even create a shortcut for itself anywhere - nor is there an executable that I've been able to locate. Switched to Armory Crate for my fresh install to use alongside ICUE since Armory Crate seems to be the way that Asus is pushing.
